Panko Crusted Chicken and {healthy} Cinnamon Apples

My husband loves anything involving chicken and batter. For home, I created a healthier version of crusted chicken that he actually requests when I ask him what he wants for dinner. And the BEST part? It literally takes me ten minutes to prep it. That means, I can make it, put it in the oven to bake and enjoy time with him instead of being in the kitchen all night. Maybe that is why it’s his favorite meal?! Either way, I love that it’s a quick meal using ingredients I always have in my kitchen. When I’m in a rut of what to cook, I typically make this. For the Panko crumbs, you can buy the plain and add seasoning or choose pre-seasoned.  I usually purchase plain and season it ahead of time so my dinners are quick to prepare. I also keep frozen, organic chicken breasts in my freezer so whenever I need a quick meal, I have protein available for use.
