Im always looking for healthier alternatives to dessert, and this one takes the cake! It not only tastes great, its rich in omega 3’s, has no refined sugar, and offers a healthy dose of protein. It is extremely easy to prepare and only takes six ingredients that you likely have in your pantry right now!
Whenever I have ripe bananas in my kitchen, I try to take advantage of the sweetness they provide in a recipe. I never like throwing them away! I previously shared this cranberry banana bread recipe that is on constant rotation in our house, but I wanted to create something new this week. I also had a few bags of chocolate chips waiting to be used, so I figured why not combine the two in a recipe?! Let’s be honest, what’s better than chocolate for breakfast (or anytime of the day)? I can’t think of much else!
Good morning! I have been struggling with motivation for breakfast lately, my usual staples just have not been sounding good. What always sounds good for breakfast? CHOCOLATE!
Looking for a healthier dessert to keep around your house when your sweet tooth strikes? These power bites taste like peanut butter cups but have no added sugar!
This past Friday, we participated in a girls happy hour by providing healthy appetizers. The event was hosted at Cacao and Cardamom, a gourmet chocolatier in the Galleria area of Houston. This shop is unlike any other we have been to! The flavors are unique – Caramel Apple, Mango Caramel, Cardamom Rose, and Blueberry Lime, to name just a few. The shop uses natural, fresh, and high quality ingredients to create a healthier indulgence. Check out their Instagram and Facebook for more details, and be sure to stop by for a taste. But, one of the best parts of the event was being able to share our love of healthy eating with the wonderful women that were there!
