Workin on my fitness…at home- A Beachbody on Demand Review

Exercise has always been an important part of my life. I was always involved in sports growing up and my interest in fitness continued well beyond the end of my participation in organized team sports.

For most of my adult life, I have had the luxury of being able to work out whenever I wanted to, and usually for as long as I chose to as well. An hour long kickboxing class followed by and hour long yoga class? Sure, sign me up!

Fast forward a few years, I now scramble to find thirty minutes or an hour to fit in a quick, effective workout. I think many people can relate to this! It took me a while to accept that thirty minutes could be considered a full workout, and that I could get a good workout without heading to the gym or yoga studio. I quickly learned that my daughter was not a fan of the gym daycare center and made the decision to part ways with my beloved gym. At first I panicked, though after some research I realized there are so many options for exercising at home.

One of my favorite programs is Beachbody on Demand. Beachbody is the makers of Insanity, P90x, Piyo and many other popular at home workout programs.

Beachbody on demand allows you to stream videos from a variety of their popular programs instead of purchasing the DVD set for each workout program. You have full access to many of the workouts, nutrition guides and workout calendars. ¬†Another great feature of this is that it is great for travel. All you need is wifi- no need to lug around a collection of DVD’s.

So far, I have been enjoying Insanity, but have tried other programs as well including 21 day fix, 21 day fix extreme and T25.

I have been impressed with the level of difficulty of these workouts. They are challenging and effective and many are under an hour. ¬†Another added bonus is that many of the programs have little to no required equipment. So no need to worry that you don’t have a fully equipped home gym.

If you are looking for options to workout at home, or even if you just want access to good workouts while you travel, i highly recommend Beachbody on demand. If you’d like to give it a try, there is a free 30 day trial. Check it out here!

**I am not a beachbody coach or affiliated with the company in any way. I am just sharing my opinion on their programs**
